One-day classroom instruction choice: February 8, 2025 (9am-5pm) OR February 22, 2025 (9am-5pm)
Once you've received your in-classroom instructions, there will be a package installation demonstration in April and three required in-person Field Days as part of your training.
The Field Day dates are:
- May 3, 2025
- May 31, 2025
- June 21, 2025
Field Day times will be discussed in class.
Class sessions will be taught by experienced Inland Empire Beekeepers Association members and special invited instructors.
This class is:
- open to anyone interested in becoming a beekeeper;
- required to keep bees in the City of Spokane, and;
- review and affirmation for those already involved in the art and science of beekeeping.
