- March 4, 9-11:30am - Growing Conditions in the Inland Northwest: INW climate/precipitation/sunlight; what plants need; reading a seed packet; soil basics
- March 4, 12:30-3pm - INW Native Perennials & Bulbs: Most seasoned gardeners prefer the perennials over the annuals. Perennials require less yearly maintenance.
- March 11, 9-11:30am - Growing Veggies in the Inland Northwest: Planting calendar; cool vs. warm season crops; seeds or transplants?
- March 11, 12:30-3pm - Seed Starting: Right light and some simple equipment; get the timing right; unique seed-starting requirements
- April 1, 9-11:30am - Waterwise Landscaping: Zones around the home; containers; in-ground and raised beds; plant selection
- April 1, 12:30-3pm - Insects in the Garden: Mostly good, sometimes bad, and often questionable-looking.
$5.00 per class. Registration is also available in person or by mail.
